This workshop begins with industry experts from one of the top Vancouver networks who tells it how it is! You will get advice on breaking into the biz, finding your brand, what agents expect from new faces, individual make-overs, depicting the commercial and high fashion markets, runway walking training, confidence, camera angles, portfolio development, posing and much more!
This 3 day intensive workshop is great for ages 13 and up. M/F. This workshop is great for all ages, beginners and experienced.
Prior to having your very own professional shoot, you will be introduced and work with professional make up artists who will take you on a journey behind the cameras into learning high definition make-up application for your very own photo-shoot on this day. Professional Industry Leaders will train you in front of the camera on angles and posing techniques that will make you feel comfortable and confident.
An Agency List and Certificate of Completion will be provided from Universal Talent Film School.

With over 50 projects under his belt, Ken has made a name for top quality, world-class productions. His work has taken him to Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, Monte Carlo, Nigeria, Budapest, and Shanghai. Vladimir has spent the last 18 years working on developing, producing, designing and directing media and entertainment content across a variety of sectors, industry categories and multimedia platforms.
Soon after getting his degree and specialization in multi media and broadcasting, Vladimir relocated from Europe to Latin America, specifically the Dominican Republic, where he was influential in setting new trends and standards for Latin American broadcasting through the creation and deliverance of the first live, interactive, and virtual show - La Llamada Dorada. This show rapidly became the most watched daily show in prime time. Following this success, Vlad began developing, producing and directing a number of other top rated TV shows, music videos and commercials, including his role as Producer and Director at Fashion TV Latin American Division, focusing on marketing and expanding fashion programming in Latin America.
Since arriving in Canada, he has worked on a number of business and creative projects including co-founding British Columbia Fashion Week, one of the main vehicles in Canada for promoting the fashion industry globally. Through this role it was a natural transition to add Creative Director to his profile, through working with and developing Canadian fashion brands, including consultative advising with educational programs and institutions. His success as Creative Director led to his roles as Fashion Director and Media Advisor for the Canadian Gemini Awards and as an adjunct instructor of Global marketing, Concepts & Trends and Consumer Behaviour at The Art Institute of Vancouver.
From his roles as instructor and his creative work with International Top Model, Vlad was invited as keynote speaker at the University of Wuhan China following the Chinese Summer Olympics in 2008 where he was keynote speaker on the topic of how to bridge the gap between business strategy and design.
Vladimir works with Media and PR agencies on consulting and building various media formats and creative strategies for brands and media personalities. An example of his work was his recent role as Creative and Program Director for VIFF Industry 2015, delivered as part of the Vancouver International Film Festival. In that role he has been lauded with bringing a fresh programming and marketing approach to the professional development of screen based industry.
Vladimir’s body of work includes a wide variety of brands and celebrities, both in Canada as well as abroad. Brands such as Dior, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Adidas and Reebok International, Tiger of Sweden, Levis, Mastercard, Celebrities such as: Anne Murray, Evangeline Lily, Taylor Kitsch, Jann Arden, Whitney Houston, Ryan Reynolds, Corey Monteith, Shakira, Gwen Stefani and Seth MacFarlane to name just a few and various projects that include work for broadcasters like NBC, Fashion TV, BBC, Telemundo, Global Canada, CBC
